South Africa not a threat to Nigeria- Eguavoen

Former Super Eagles player and Coach, Austin Cerezo Eguavoen has dismissed talks about South Africa posing a threat to Nigeria in the 2015 African Nations Cup qualifiers. Nigeria will tomorrow in Cape Town play against South Africa for their second game of the qualifying series, looking to continue with their dominance over the Bafana Bafana. Eguavoen believes that the Super Eagles have enough in their armoury to see out the South Africans, adding that their level of confidence will help them win the game. “When you are a champion, people will always try to pull you down but I am not too worried because we are blessed with talent and we have done it before so I am confident that we will do it again. A team must know its strength and weaknesses but winning games would give the team confidence”The former national team handler told footballlive.ng Nigeria lost their last game against Congo, and would be hoping to get a win against South Africa to put them back in contention to qualify for the 2015 Nations Cup in South Africa.
